About Me
Ji Xu, an experienced Denturist practicing at Gentle Dental Milwaukie, brings a unique blend of artistic talent and technical expertise to the field. Fluent in Mandarin, Ji Xu’s journey into dentistry was inspired by his mother, a Dentist and professor of Dental School. Graduating with a major in Design from Zhejiang Art College, China, in 1988, Ji Xu’s artistic background sets him apart in the realm of Denturistry.
Completing his dental education at Bates Technical College in 2006, Ji Xu’s passion lies in Denture Technology. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys watercolor painting and pencil sketching. Patients under Ji Xu’s care can expect a personalized and expert approach to denture services. With a commitment to combining artistry and technical skill, Ji Xu provides comfortable and natural-looking dentures for the Gentle Dental Milwaukie community.

About Me
Dr. Savina enjoys giving back to her community and making a difference in peoples lives, whether it is easing a patients anxiety, taking them out of pain or improving their smile. She feels that building a foundation of trust by treating her patients as special individuals is vital. She understands how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how she can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience. She wants every visit to end with a happy smile!
After graduating from St. Petersburg Pavlov State Medical University, Dr. Savina received her Dental Degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, she’s a member of the American Dental Association. She also speaks Russian.
Dr. Savina says, “I enjoy the weather of all seasons and long walks in parks and out in nature. I like skiing and skating, too.”

ABOUT ME
Dr. Cheng says, “I enjoy dentistry because I like interacting with people of all ages, cultures and personalities. The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon’s typical day is diverse and interesting. Most importantly I want to help people to meet their dental health needs. I am very patient and good listener who cares for each patient’s special concerns.”
“I am attracted to dentistry because it offers many opportunities, challenges, and rewards. Being a dentist allow s me to be part of the primary healthcare profession on the frontline of oral disease prevention, intervention, and wellness promotion.”
After graduating from Portland State University, Dr. Cheng received his Dental Degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine University School of Dentistry and completed his Oral Surgery training at the The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Oregon State Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association. He also speaks Mandarin and Spanish.
Dr. Cheng says, “My hobbies are outdoor hiking, biking, photography and traveling.”
